  i : PLOTTING   this blog thrives off of plotted interactions . it is not my main priority , but adding depth to our characters relationships ( whether platonic , familial , or romantic ) are important for a character like conrad . romantic ships , will require some sort of ooc plotting due to the nature of conrad's love life .  ii : CONTENT   conrad is by no means a dark character , but certain aspects of his life can be triggering . this is not limited to depression and parental loss . any writing on the dash that could be triggering will be tagged appropriately .  iii : FORMATTING   formatting on this blog will feature colored text , different fonts , and variating sized words . this is purely for my own enjoyement ! you do not need to use gifs , icons , coloring , or anything . the writing is what truly matters . all i ask is that you cut your posts , to keep everyone's dashes clean .

  CHILDHOOD   HER SPECIAL GUY. Hopeful and bright , a shining light in a dimming world . Conrad grew up going between Boston and Cousins , while his parents enjoyed a healthy relationship. The Conklin family was a source of great connection . Throughout this time , Conrad found himself through his connection to music , sports and his ability to excel in academics . Most would call him a child that was bright , always smiling . Just simply happy to be alive , focused on being the best sibling and friend that he could be .

  TEENAGE YEARS   ALL THE KINGS HORSES , ALL THE KINGS MEN . COULDN'T PUT ME TOGETHER AGAIN . His teenage years start off bright . Athletics accel him to being popular in high school , he's well liked by people . Conrad grows into this person his parents always wanted him to be . Mature for his age , excelling academically and athletically . Two bombshells changed him completely . Learning of his mothers cancer diagnosis was something he'd carried in secrecy from the moment he found out . With no outlet , his grades tanked , he quit football , and picked up on off character habits such as smoking . Knowing his father had an affair while his mother started cancer treatments , demolished their relationship . He struggles with being emotionally withdrawn , and refuses to talk about his emotions . For this reason he struggles with his love interest , Belly Conklin . The impending love triangle with his brother and Belly demolishes a strong brotherhood and friendship built for years . The end of his teenage years are headlined by the death of his mother , which left Conrad angry at himself — and the world . As well as his moving to California to enroll in Stanford as a pre - medical student . Largely in honor of his mother , Susannah Fisher.

  TWENTIES   WHAT WAS I MADE FOR ? The road was rough , long , and mentally exhausting . But by his early twenties , Conrad had been inducted into the internship program at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center . He is currently hoping to specialize in General Medicine , where he plans to start a cancer trial in honor of his late mother , Susannah . Conrad still struggles with his emotions , but he is a much better communicator . The time he spent in California was life changing , and gave him a chance to see a world without Isabel Conklin , his family and friends .
